An honest assessment created a strong relationship.

Challenge.

The Iowa Intermediary Network (IIN) invited firms to respond with a proposal to provide marketing support for their state wide effort to develop work-based learning in Iowa. Their specific request was to develop some videos sharing the work they were accomplishing.

IIN had a limited budget to work with, a state-wide audience that included K-12 educators, any business interested that could be enticed to participate, and the parents of all high school students. The coordinators comprising IIN’s staff work closely with and receive support from Iowa’s 15 community colleges, and each college has a marketing department with specific brand standards.

Our solution was to create a unique Iowa Intermediary brand supported by an IIN dedicated website. We developed social media assets to support IIN’s work and built a portal for IIN staff to submit raw material for social media posts. The portal was later expanded to include video submissions and tutorials for the creation of engaging media.
